Karas Gulf shores Alabama  Bridal Session on the Gulf.  These portraits were done by Jeffery Patrick.  Gulf Shores is a great destination for beach weddings and bridal sessions.  We also photographed Kara’s engagement session and wedding here on the beach.  Gulf Shores is also a fantastic vacation spot for beach portraits, family beach portaits, and couples celebrating their honeymoon!

Seaside is one of my favorite places to photograph beach portraits. I wanted to take a moment and share a restaurant that you will likely find me at after a beach portrait session in Seaside Florida. That restaurant is Bud and Alleys Pizza Bar. The pizza is fantastic, and the wine menu is great. I like to sit outside on their custom patio, enjoying my pizza, good times. So far I have not ordered any pizza on the menu that was less than absolutely fantastic. So in case you are wondering why I get so excited about your family traveling to Seaside Florida for beach portraits, the photographer gets pizza!

Val’s family has given me the privalige of photographing them several times.  They visit Seaside, rent a cottage, and enjoy the beach every year. Seaside beach portraits taken at sunset.

Florida is great. The weather outside today is currently 64 degrees. Florida must be one of the best places during the winter to reside or visit. The water in Destin Florida stays especially gorgeous in the winter. The Destin Pass is a dark emerald green, darker than is is during most of the summer and the waves and surf in the gulf are non existent. The Gulf will stay flat for most of the winter until the summer breezes arrive in the late spring. If you are visiting this winter, it is a great time for family portraits on the beach, not to mention a perfect time if you are looking for more intimate photographs with just you and that significant other, as the beaches will stay virtually deserted until March. We photographed Shelly’s Family in November.  It was a fun session with the three kids at Beasley Park on Okaloosa Island.  Beach portraits were photographed at Sunset.

Misti hired us to photograph her entire family in Seaside Florida.  Seaside is another great little community to stay while visiting Florida.  You can rent houses and cottages off of the beach, and the entire community has several easy beach access points.  This is also where parts of the Movie, “The Truman Show” was filmed.  Beach Portraits in Seaside where photographed at sunset.

This wonderfull family stayed in Rosemary during their summer vacation.  They were a family of three, and they brought their daughters best friend.  They had their Beach Portraits done at sunset.  We Started photographing inside Rosemary before we walked down to the beach.  The two girls were a bit boy crazy, so I grabbed a couple guys walking by and threw them in with the girls, which they loved!  I have never heard so much giggling.

Deborah needed something fun and different for the back cover of her newest book, In His Love.  We went to Okaloosa Island at sunset to capture these great images.  We had a lot of fun during the entire session.  This was the first time I met Deborah and it was definitely a session that I will never forget!
